I'd like to know ifit is somehow possible to disable the VSS snapshot process for this drive? Let me know if this helps anyone to at least duplicate the problem or possibly help resolve it. It is possible because VSS is creating copies of this files during backup. We dont use Windows shadow copy services directly but I think Networker Legato uses to backup the server. You can refer to this article showcasing the error seen in Altaro. Few month later, My backup disk ran out of space and delete the entire partition once again so this fix does not work afterall, back to the drawing board.....
