Plus uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, is such a PIA... Since it is going to use up a high percentage of system resources, what do you recommend? SO NOW I HAVE TO SPEND MY TIME CHASING YOUR BUG?  CAN I BILL SYMANTEC AT MY USUAL CONSULTING RATE?  THIS IS ALSO LIKELY TO IMPACT MY PRODUCTIVITY WITH MY CLIENTS Not much information on this particular issue anywhere.

These ways will help you out in detecting whether Norton Brings your CPU Usage to 100% are not. I have Full System scan scheduled (what is the point of having a user configurable scheduled Full System scan, if it runs in the background every time it is at idle?!). Run LiveUpdate again, to ensure all updates have been downloaded and applied. Now I'm running LiveUpdate, but it is barely usable even to live update.
