Cloyd Shiffer Boyd Got me back into a hijacked Hosts file. Exactly what I was looking for...! After disabling sharing, I had no access to the directory or any of the "non-existent files" inside. (Properties kept saying the directory was 0 bytes when there are many databases inside I couldn't get rid of the protected files with CYGWIN.
